How Do I Register with the State as a West Virginia Medical Marijuana patient?

- Valid West Virginia Driver’s License or WV State-Issued ID Card with proof of West Virginia Residence

When Can I Start Using my West Virginia Medical Marijuana Card?
Legal protection as a Patient is effective immediately upon obtaining the card. In terms of dispensaries, they will most likely be opening sometime in Summer 2021. This does not necessarily mean you will have to wait until then to purchase marijuana, though.
Certain states with established medical marijuana programs, like Pennsylvania for example, may offer reciprocity for West Virginia medical marijuana patients.
